While I'm waiting on my refurbished iMac to arrive, I thought I'd spend some time trying to map out a strategy to keep my data synced between computers on my network. I'm interested to hear the strategies that other Mac users utilize to keep your data in sync.

I'll need to sync iTunes, lots of photos, documents, bookmarks and contacts right off the top of my head. Right now my biggest frustration is that I have pictures on an external hd, on my laptop and on my desktop, some are duplicates, some not. I've got about 20k photos, so I think I'm just going to dump them all on a spare external hd and save figuring them out for a rainy day. But I sure want to make sure I don't have more problems in the future.

I have the following:
- a Windows 7 laptop that I'll be hanging on to
- a 2005 iBook G4
- iMac (on it's way from Apple)
- AirPort Extreme router
- WD Elements 1.5 TB external HD that I plan to network via the AirPort router

Thanks!
