Whatsap stopped working on Sonoma..?

I am running Sonoma.
Whatsap app has been great, but one day it stopped working. I have tried to install fresh from appstore, nothing works. Reset ram etc.

Albeit on my 2012 15 inch macbook but as far as the ios is concerned it's on a solid machine. I don't see why it would matter.

Sonoma is Sonoma.

Anyone else had this? Any fixes?

2012 Macs don’t run Sonoma. You must be using OCLP. From what I understand, latest WhatsApp require CPU with AVX2 instructions. 2012 Macs have CPU w/out AVX2. Supposedly there is work around…

Looks technical, I am not that well versed.. My friend just suggested use the website version, seems to have worked, not best as it was easier to CMT TAB to whatsap but at least its working.,
