Whatsapp and LINE not showing some emoticons

I figured out it's not because of Whatsapp or Line, but iOS.

iOS 6 and iOS 5 have different codes for emojis, so if you are on iOS 5 and the sender on iOS 6, it is very likely that you'll see only squares on certain emojis (the ones who changed the code).
