Whatsapp back-up and iOS 8

Hello
I'm using the latest iOS 8 beta and the latest whatsapp app.
All over the whatsapp beta I found up that the conversions back-up is not working .
It saying that I need to turn on in iCloud but it's on.
Is this option still not available for the beta users?
