Got a series 7 today, I transferred all apps from my iPhone 13 to my new watch and WhatsApp is not there . How come? what can I do?

Go to the watch app on your phone, what's it say for WhatsApp? Is there an install button or what?

I haven't had this happen so maybe wait for someone else to chime in. But if it was me, I'd just go ahead and delete WhatsApp from my phone (after backing it up) and then re-install the app to see if it maybe goes onto the watch then.

You have to allow it from your phone. Then you’ll get the notifications.
where exactly? on my phone I have notifications allowed and the same on the WhatsApp app itself.. but there is nothing on my phone that mentions or shows WhatsApp on my watch . And there is no WhatsApp icon on the watch app on my phone

By default, your watch will mirror the notifications from the iPhone. Have you actually tried to get someone to send you a WhatsApp message to see if it works?

I had messages from my friends and no notifications on my watch whatsoever .
If there is no whataspp icon on my watch for whatever the reason then I can't set any notifications . Do you have the icon on your phone?

I have the app on my phone, nothing on my watch

On your phone, go to the watch app then notifications. WhatsApp switch is there.

Scroll further down. Twitter cannot be the last one in that list. The stock built-in weather app will also be in there. So you’re definitely not at the bottom of the list.

There is nothing else after Twitter under mirror the iPhone . The weather app it’s on the list of the first notifications .

Oh yes, sorry that is the watch app that you have shown. You need to check the notifications in the iPhone settings.

Edit: just checked and WhatsApp appears in both the notification settings for the phone and for the watch so I would try uninstalling the app and reinstalling it again.

Anywhere on my iPhone notifications are On. Whether on general settings or WhatsApp itself

Did you ever get to the bottom of this?
yes I did thank you. A couple of days ago. It turns out that I also had to tick on lock screen and banners under notifications , I only had ticked Notification Centre
