Do you think we will ever have an iPad/Mac support for WhatsApp? Or even a possibility to call via WhatsApp?

A instant messaging app should have a call function in 2014.

Since WhatsApp has been bought by Facebook things are changed. It seems like they don't care about WhatsApp. They only want you to use Facebook/Messenger.

They should give freedom to the users and let them decide which app to use and mostly release more updates since WhatsApp it's still one of the most used app.

Well the current beta for whatsapp does have VoIP support. I have attached the screenshot here. Thought the beta version doesn't have VoIP enabled yet.

As for Mac/iPad version. Would actually love if apple opens continuity support to 3rd party apps.
