WhatsApp voice messages are not audible through the Car Bluetooth unless you select bluetooth as Audio Source on the car's head unit. early versions of WhatsApp used to send the audio from the voice message as a phone call to the car's audio system. much like google maps or apple maps do. it doesn't matter if you are on FM, CD, AM, SAT etc the voice indications are sent as a phone call.

Has anyone experienced anything similar with Whatsapp and ios10?

by the way I'm using an iPhone 7 with 10.2 beta 1, on an 2015 Acura TLX with technology package.
[doublepost=1478498606][/doublepost]by the way I tried contacting WhatsApp support and the reply from them was the following:

"Sorry for the delay! We have received many emails recently, and we do our best to answer them all. Thank you for your patience.

WhatsApp provides limited support for Bluetooth devices. You should be able to receive WhatsApp notifications and voice calls. Any issues you have are likely caused by the OS and not WhatsApp itself. Please contact your device manufacturer for additional assistance.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Sincerely,

xxxxxxxxxxx

WhatsApp Support Team"

which I think they are wrong because it is not caused by the OS, since Viber, Line, Google Maps, Apple Maps etc sends the audio via bluetooth call without issue. and WhatsApp used to do the same until they update the app 4 months ago. and it keeps having that bug ever since.
