So I'm thinking when Apple updates the Air with a higher resolution screen, they will give the option for 16gb of ram in the 13" Pro while still only having an 8gb option in the Air...

It's that position Apple puts you in with every model they have - they seem to make you teeter b/t models comparing the pros and cons of each one.

This might all fit...Updated 15" retina in June with Haswell and wireless ac to push the 15's again, and then late summer/fall updated Air (with a higher res. screen) and 13" Haswell Pros, but 16gb ram option for Pros...

Nothing is guaranteed.

highly doubt the air will get 16gb, maybe years later.

current 13r Pro is limited at 8

unless they did away with the PRO13/AIR13 and just had one 13inch

If they are released separately, I expect the Airs to be updated before the Retinas to take advantage of the back-to-school season.

802.11ac would be nice, but I've got an inkling that it's not going to happen this year.

That leaves just standard spec bumps, but the Air will benefit from the superior GPU. I don't think Apple will touch the screen on the Airs until they can get a Retina in there.
