When apps get iPhone 6 optimized do they look sharper?

When apps get iPhone 6 optimized do they look sharper?

For example, can Facebook or Chrome potentially be updated so that the fonts look a little more sharper on an iPhone 6? If it's possible then I know it will be, but I wasn't sure if an iPhone 6 optimization would make either app render fonts differently so they look sharper or smaller. I guess it's a question that also relates to the iPhone 6 resolution.

Yea, right now the app is just blown up in size so if course it won't look as sharp worth the text and formatting bigger. Developers need to update their apps.
