Hey all,

I m looking for a new macbook pro, was just wondering if they are planning anytime soon to revise them or whatever they call it. Or have they recently done that?

I hate to buy one and within weeks a better one arrives.

Thanks,
Matt

How often do they update them? every 6 months or so?

also just reading around about the nvidia problem, is it affecting the macbook pros? if so, has it been corrected?

Thanks again,
Matt

yes, around every 6 months. so it will be around april.

There will be nothing new to update in april. It will have to wait until the first Intel platform with nehalem processors come out, which are expected in around one year from now

There will probably eb an update in april, but it will only be a minor one, like maybe a bigger HDD or something.

next autumn there will likely be another full update.

Matt - Check the Buyer's Guide Tab above. It will tell you average days between new models, days since update, etc.
