iPad When are we getting an iPad controller

I see all these games showing up with controller support, but when are we going to get a controller for the iPad??

I wanna play GTA San Andreas with a decent controller.
I've searched and searched, and there is no word on this.
WTF? Logitech is leaving money on the table here.
 
I want one really bad too. Lili, Horn, and all the Sonic games would be nice with one.

Games get too intense sometimes that I drop the iPad. :eek: So I really want to use my stand and a controller with it to make it easier.
 
I'm really hoping for a MFi controller that isn't some custom phone case with a backup battery built in making it cost $100. Something like a PS controller that takes a couple of AA batteries with a price point of $50 or less would be lovely.

Sure, games like chess is fine for the iPad. But, real mobile gaming requires a controller.

I am really hoping the ps3 controller will be able to work with all iDevices.

it won't be attached to the iPad. It will just be a wireless controller which I have been waiting for since the original iPhone. It is ridiculous we still don't have one. I want to play nba jam and madden with a controller.
 
I've just started playing San Andreas and feel the need for an external controller.

I came here to look for advice on which to get but this thread suggests I'm not going to find what I'm looking for?

I'm also desperate to find a wireless controller to play games on my ipad. If PS3 controllers could work with iOS then gaming on here would absolutely explode. I'm pretty sure if you jailbreak there's an app that let's you use a PS3 controller, which is pretty nifty.
Getting more and more tempted to jailbreak for that
 
I'm waiting for ClamCase's GameCase. I just hope they don't charge more than 50$ for it.
