Android Lollipop looks so amazing and better looking than Kitkat and new features of Android Lollipop really makes want to get Android Lollipop on my Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 and try it out. :) :)

So does everyone know when Samsung going to give provide us a update to Android Lollipop? And will it be in the next 1/2 months or so?

Will my Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 get the update? I can't wait to get Android Lollipop! :D

Maybe in 6 months time (flagship phones still have not been updated or fully rolled out) or just as likely not updated at all ... I do not have any faith in Samsung updating their tablet range given my experience this year.

Agree....I kept waiting and waiting for them to send out an update for my Note 10.1 but it never happened. I sold the thing. It was a WiFi version too, which is what kills me. No excuse for a non-carrier tablet sold internationally to not receive an update in so long.

I've had it on my LG G3 for a month now!

But I'm not expecting it on my LG G Pad tablet at all, tbh.

That is a shame then. :( :(

I really want Android Lollipop on my Tab Pro 8.4, i am not getting a Nexus 9 because the lack of micro SD slot and serious build issues(volume buttons, more).

It is really stupid they are doing major Android Updates for phones and not for tablets. :/

Not having Android Lollipop on my Tab Pro 8.4 makes me want to sell my Tab Pro 8.4 and get a Nexus 9 just to have/try out Android Lollipop but that's not going to happen..

I really think it's a symptom offering too many models of both their phones and tablets. Since the hardware can differ so much between models, Samsung would need to direct resources to each update for each model. Software updates don't help generate new hardware sales so I'm guessing they'd rather allocate those resources towards new products first.

Before i saw Android Lollipop on Nexus 9 on the reviews videos on Youtube.

I thought i won't even care if i don't have the ''latest and greatest'' Android OS on my Tab Pro 8.4 and would be just happy with Kitkat.

But i was wrong after seeing Android Lollipop see how it is so polished, better looking then Kitkat and some new features like Battery saver and very fast.

I thought to myself it would be AWESOME to have Android Lollipop on my Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 and now i really want Android Lollipop on my Tab Pro 8.4 :)

You have the option to put a lolipop rom on your tablet no?pure lolipop on a nexus is not going to be close to a touchwize based samsung experience

What u saw is pure android and when samsung goes 5.0 most people won't be able to tell the difference between Kitkat and lolipop with Samsung's skin on top

Hate being a negative nancy but I wouldn't hold my breath for their tablets. :-/

Definitely expect phones first

Sadly, I have to agree with this. My guess the Tab Pro, which was supplanted by the Tab S won't see an upgrade to Lollipop.

Depending on your device, I know they intend to roll out Lollipop on the mobile flagship S5 first, then Note 4 (January or so)and then... whenever.

For Sammy's devices I don't think Lolli will make that much of a difference with the skin they overlay on top of it. I also hear that it is massively bug ridden.

I am in no hurry to update even when it is provided. I will wait for the either praise or outcry from the other pioneers.

When are we going to get Android Lollipop?(Samsung)

I was the same way wanting to experience Lollipop so I went with the Nexus 9. If I had to do it over, I probably wouldn't. Don't get me wrong I love the nexus 9 and the recessed buttons I can deal with no problem, but the light bleeding is so bad I'm going to try and send it back to HTC for warranty.

Then again who am I lying too, just for the front facing speakers, Tegra chip and instant updates I would do it again

My boss and his boss both have a Samsung Edge. One day two months ago, I arrived at work and they were both there. I told them I Got 5.0 on my Nexus 4 and one of them asked how I got it before they did. I reminded him that it was because it was a Nexus.

I so wanted to get the Nexus 6 but after reading people's reviews decided to skip it. I then wanted to get the Edge but the lack of updates makes me not want to.

Samsung is very slow at updating anything they make.

why didnt you install fw to it from other region? im running kitkat on my Note 10.1, and i used fw from differend region than my own. (and my own region doesnt have kitkat yet)

It's weird my note 8.0 has the 4.4 update.

Just wait till the next 8.4 tablet update..that's likely what I'm going to do

According to this link, it WILL get lollipop but it doesn't say when. Samsung usually takes forever to put out updates but once they put it out, it's solid.

Just wait, be patient, that's really all you can do at this point. Otherwise if you really want lollipop right now, you can get a nexus 4/5/6/7/9/10. Or any other flagship that has had the update already. I have a nexus 5 so I really don't keep up with which phones will get it or not.

I hope you get it soon though. I LOVE lollipop. The bugs are negligible. I don't really experience any bugs, if I do, they're so small it doesn't affect the phone whatsoever.

I got a 2013 Nexus 7 just for this reason. I did not want to be left out of the latest and greatest Android version. But after loading up the preview version of Android L I wanted to go back to Kitkat because not only did I saw bugs but many of my apps were not compatible. While the situation is greatly improved today on my Nexus 7 I can't see Samsung and the carriers releasing bug fixes each and every time Android is updated.
So by the time Lollipop hits Note 4 it should be very stable. If I have a taste for lollipop I will just use my Nexus 7 in the meantime.

It's weird my note 8.0 has the 4.4 update.

My tab pro 10.1 is still on 4.4.2

It's a lottery. However it's interesting because it usually comes when I've given up checking everyday. When I decide that I'm not bothered anymote it decides to show up#

Yes in expecting my tab pro to get the update eventually.
