When are we likely to see FaceID in MBA?

Hi Guys

I've currently got a 2014 MBA, it's worked like a charm but thinking of updating to the M1 MBA.

Reading that we are likely to see FaceID in Macs soonish, what's everyone's guess as to when? Debating whether to hold off.

Maybe next year with the redesign. Maybe never. I think I prefer touchid on the Mac anyway.

Same here. And if you have an Apple Watch and have it set to unlock the Mac, you're doubly set.
