When backing up/restoring with itunes, does game data save?

When i sold my 3Gs this week, i did an itunes backup and manually wiped the phone clean {not restore}. when i get my iphone 4, will i be able to restore from that backup? and if I can, will my apps/games and game save data all be restored to the new phone? i REALLY don't want to loose all the headway i had in my games....

YOur game data should be saved. I did the same with my 3G and it saved all of my game data when I transferred it to my IP4.

If you restore from a backup then yes, it will.
Some games with Plus+ (like Rolando,WeRule, GodFinger) save the game data to their server so you don't have to worry if you forget to backup your phone the day it decides to take a plunge in the pool XD

Those farm time games like that, we rule, farmville etc are all stored on servers anyways. There not stored on the phone.
