I'm interested to know what limitations i should set when Playing starcraft 2.

Since April, when Mac compatibility was implemented, I have had times when my fan would be at 6000, and core temperature ~75-80 degrees.

I've never had it >80, but I have heard problems amount when your CPU temperature is >/= 80'c.

What are your thoughts on this issue?
When can I expect my fan to burn out, or will it burn out if I have it at around 5800 for hours at a time?

Thanks again and I appreciate all of the help.

It will not burn out in any reasonable timeframe.

I have fans from 10 year old computers that are still running.

Fans only go bad if they are overvolted or cheap poorly made crap, I have my macbook always at 4000rpm because of the heat, it's over 40ºC here (if your in the shadow ) At least my macbook stays fresh:D
