I have an iPhone 5 with old Nationwide Talk and Text plan with unlimited data, and an IPad Mini with a separate 5GB plan. I'm going to buy a new individual Talk and Text plan at $60/month for a new line with an iPhone 6, reduce the iPhone 5 plan to the bare minimums, cancel my separate iPad data plan, and put the iPhone 5 sim in my iPad to have unlimited data there (yes, it works).

The question is, is there a reason or any benefit to doing these particular transactions at Verizon store vs a Best Buy? I hate the Verizon stores....long wait, they seem to have less stock than Best Buy, and I have a ton of BB Gift Cards. But I'm worried about BB screwing up my existing account with unlimited data, especially if it involves changes to my existing account. Or can I just purchase the new line/iPhone 6 at BB, then call Verizon CS to change my iPhone 5 service and cancel my iPad data plan?

TIA!
