Moving on.

Too many Apple propaganda stories, trigger-happy admins who appear to get paid by the number of critical posts they flag/remove, and a complete loss of sense of humor and perspective.

Arn, it was fun in the beginning, but as macrumors has grown more and more corporate it has lost what made it unique.

I don't think so, some Moderators here use other  products like Lenovo and i get more help on these forums here about using my Dell XPS 13" then i would on the entire internet.

I understand your compliant tho, My only gripe about the forums is that some members dont really read into some post and they assume what they think, besides opening their minds.i guess we need to ignore or just move on from those members and enjoy the others, especially the photography here, which is outstanding!

I wish you luck in your next on-line endeavor. Websites can't stay stagnant and imo, this is one of the better news and rumors sites out there, even if what they are trying in terms of stories don't resonate with all members.

As far as the "trigger-happy" admins who get "paid" by the posts moderated who don't have a sense of humor and perspective, could it be what you are posting is not fitting in with the rules? There are many who can get a point across, including a bit of off-topic humor and stay within the forum rules.

It seems to be a common thread in some posts in S&FF that when posters complain of moderation it's because mods are biased and rules are applied unevenly....not that the posters don't adhere to the forum rules.

These are the same people who complain that Apple isn’t the same company they were 20 years ago, well, of course they’re not. Change is part of the paradigm shift. Macrumors has changed and diversified to expand beyond the scope of what they first started as. I don’t think this website has any less value to its demographic, when it’s broadening to a variety of other readers and enthusiasts alike. If Anything, Macrumors has grown in popularity, and this is coming from a member who’s only been a part of this site for five years.

Thanks to Arnold Kim and all the staff that make this site very much possible to follow the Apple latest news and stories alike, regardless of ‘said ads’.
