Waited in line at an Apple Store on launch day. I wanted a silver but left with a space gray. I'm still very happy with it, as I upgraded from an iPhone 4.

Ordered at 8AM on the 20th / 9. Delivered on the 9th /10. Not bad as I chose the Gold 32GB 5S.

We ordered my Fiancee's 5C on launch day and it was delivered the following week...exactly 7 days after placing the order.

I selected midnight on launch day, because my actual option wasn't there…

I woke up and ordered at 1:34am Pacific and got mine in the first batch of Apple shipments the following Wednesday.

Polls have to be one of the most overused and least useful features of macrumors. People who make polls have this vague notion of creating something interesting or important. They are seldom either.

They removed the thumbs down button, but left polls. Amazing.

Wasn't going to buy one at all but did order my wife one on the 29th when Verizon let unlimited users upgrade and keep unlimited. I still skipped in on my line.

I'm interested in what the obvious reasons are for not ordering online. Since I've ordered every iPhone online since the 3G and never had any problems with any iPhone I received, I obviously don't know what they are.
