I’ve never done it with a new carrier before but I’m sure you could. I bet it takes a little while to get through the entire process though. Upgrading online is a piece of cake however.

If it were me I would get your account sorted now and just do BYOD and then just “upgrade” when the preorders go live. That way you know everything is good to go.
