When do macbook pro cases start to come out with a new release?

Hi guys, I got the 16" right now and i'm afraid to throw it in my backpack. Also I hate how slippery it is without a rubber coated plastic case. How long does it usually take? I'm annoyed even apple doesn't have one.

I looked at amazon and it is ETA 1 month, which i assume is from china.

Usually about a month.

But sleeves for the old pre-2016 MacBook Pro should fit.

The 15" Sleeve does not fit the 16" MBP. I have both and bought the 16" sleeve - nice for using with a backpack.

same! It’s very tight and barely closes without force.

I just ordered one off amazon for $25 free shipping and it comes in a week. I’m keeping it in the tight sleeve for now

i assume you’re referring to a Late 2016 - Mid 2019 15” sleeve? What about the older 15” unibody retina sleeves (2013-2015)? I would expect the older ones to fit, since they’re larger.
