When do new announcements ship to stores?

When ipods are announced...when do they usually come out in stores? Like for the annual September ipod update for example or WWDC event for example. When do they ship them, or are they already at the stores when they are released.

Depends. Sometimes they are available in store same day, other times it's later. How much? Depends on the product. If you are referring to the iPhone... There are some reports that claim Apple will release it during WWDC. Given AT&T's Employee Vacation Restrictions, July seems like the time.

It's unclear if we will see a notebook update, but it seems like the iPhone/iPad is definitely the focus, so the answer is probably not during WWDC this year, whereas last year there were notebook updates.
