when do apple start selling off the old model macbook's, if they do at all?

is there a specialist site that you can buy the old models rather than the new models?

i am in the uk but will buy from abroad if cheaper and can be delivered........

thanks for any help

Refurb store on the website.

I'm just looking for a basic macbook. Everytime I've looked at the refurb store it only has Macbook Pros and Airs. Is there not a UK site which sells the old stock from before they brought out the shiny new models?

Well, Apple try to minimise the amount of old stock by running down production on the old models before introducing the new ones. There may well simply not be any to sell.

Log on between 1am (when they update the refurb store) and 7am UK time. The MacBooks are there but they sell out fast.

The previous most basic model sells there for £529.

Amazon.uk also discounted the black MacBook, I think it's £880 and Cancomuk.com sells it for £860. Of course, you can get this for £699 at the refurb store.
