I feel like in past years, they have started the Friday (or Thursday at 12:00 pacific) after the press event, with the first batch of shipments arriving a week later. Does that sound correct, or am I off by a week?

Preorders this Friday.

iOS 9 release, next Wednesday.

iPhone 6S and 6S+ release, next Friday.

I HATE That I have to wait until sept 25th though. I didn't think I would have to wait that long, and I'm using an iphone 4 right now :(

People should STOP using things like PST or PDT. Just use PT. After all, I would guess the vast majority of people have no freakin clue if we are on daylight time, daylight savings time, or standard time. In the end, Pacific Time is still Pacific Time.

I dropped my 5S last month. Using an Iphone3. I will live until the new one gets here.

As to when for pre-orders...they made it clear it was Saturday in the announcement. Their webpage shows 12:01am on Saturday (late late friday night for regular folks)[/QUOTE]
