Hi,
When do you all think that the 12 inch powerbook will be eol"ed?
When thwe mac book comes out?
When a 12 inch macbook pro comes out?
Or are they just selling the rest of the inventory and will eol it when the inventory is out?
Any comments?
Thanks

Based on previous events, I think its is logical to assume that it will be end of lifed when the 12" MacBook Pro comes out. The 15" PB was gone with the 15" MBP, and same with the 17".

Hi,
The 15 inch powerbook was still being sold after the 15 inch macbook pro came out.
Like the imac g5.
However the mac mini and the 17 inch powerbook were eol"ed immeadeatly when the intel based versions came out.
And yes I seen the white text on your post.

I think Apple will release a 12" (or 13.3") MacBook Pro. The 12" PB was a very popular, so to me, it would seem odd of Apple to end this model.

It seems likely a 13.3" MacBook (aka iBook) will be the smallest Apple laptop to appear with the Intel transition. It looks like Apple want to keep their "pro" line exactly that, the 12" Powerbook and iBooks were becoming to closely specified so the line between consumer and pro laptop became blurry.

I hope Apple have a 12" or 13.3" MacBook Pro planned, but I doubt it.

i agree, the thing is though, that the 12/13" macbooks will probably be super fast, its just that they will have intergrated graphics

i hope this 12'13.3" macbook (pro?) comes out this may... that way it can be out for a bit before this summer and i can see what people think of it. then, this summer, if people like it, i'll be selling my 12" powerbook and getting a new 12-13.3" thing.

I hope it comes before May 12th (confirmation) or right after. I also hope for:
