When do you expect the release of next Redesigned MBP?

Should one buy a 2018 MBP? The processors and ram seem to be fine but the GPUs are still not HBM2 based.

If somebody buys a MBP in 2019 - and redesign comes in 2020 then the value of his MBP and satisfaction of owning such machine lowers instantly.

What would you do if you do not need a MBP but you simply want to have it?

I am expecting the macbook pro to eventually transition to a glass keyboard with haptic feedback.

That said, I do think that now is as good a time to get a new MBP as any. You get a fairly decent processor, the keyboard issues should have been fixed, and USB-C is here to stay. I just don't see Apple walking back on any of their design choices, so if you are holding out for the return of function keys or legacy ports, you will be disappointed.
