My phone must have slipped out of my pocket......and it got scrambled *literrally* while I was operating my snowblower yesterday.

Option A: Use my 4S till the 6 comes out
Option B: Reup and order a 5S
Option C: I would not do it, but go through insurance, pay $200 for a 64 MB 5 *non s)

Use your 4S until the 6 comes out.

I think the 6 (and possibly more than one model) will be out in September, if history is any indication.

This seems right. Anything earlier than September would be a total shock. They have gone anywhere from 12-18 months between releases.

Agreed. Keep the 4S. 6 should be out September/October.

4S is still a good phone and if you're like me you'd be miserable with regret when the 6 comes out.

I'm guessing Oct. but they REALLY should release every 6 months starting after the 6.

Also my upgrade came due for the 5S but I want to get on the main releases so I am just going to use my 4s till the 6 comes out.

I think you should wait as well. Competition from the new Galaxy S5 *could* push Apple to release the iPhone 6 earlier -- especially since there were indications of Apple testing a larger screened iPhone before the 5S was even released.

However, by September-ish for sure.

Use your 4S until the 6 comes out as its launch is right around the corner (in the fall)

Do you have a picture of the remains of you phone? I'm just wondering what an iPhone looks like after getting torn up in the snow blower.

Pics

I'm with Doctor11 .... would love to see a pic of the phone from the snow blower. fyi ... I just saw an ad from Gazelle for "Tell us how you broke your phone". You could probably win with that one.:D

When I came back to see this treads new post I realized I never answered you question. I guess I was distracted by wondering what happens to iPhone torn up in the snow blower lol. I think you should keep the 4s for now and get the 6 later it's should have a ton of upgrades or at least some but really good ones. And I have one more question for you. Where did you find your phone? Was it like 30 feet away in some snow bank?

Since you have an old 4S to use, that's still not a bad phone so I'd use it until the 6 comes out probably in September or October.

I think September, but am certainly hoping for an earlier launch. I'm definitely ready to upgrade my iPhone 5.

Another vote for this. The 4S is recent enough to offer most of the features of iOS 7.

Elaberate please?

Though I'm not privy to the inner workings of Apple and their manufacturers, I would think a 6-month release cycle would put everyone, from Apple developers, manufacturers, assemblers, testers, etc. into a rush cycle. And, as we all know, you cannot rush a good thing. Not to mention users may begin complainging; "I just bought the 6 and now the 6S is out, grrr"

I agree with everyone else, just use your 4s.

Although, if I were in your situation, I'd be tempted to buy a Nexus 5 to play around with until the 6 comes out in September/October.

Usual time frame around September 2014.

You gotta at least 7 months to wait for it.
