When do you think the rumored "iPhone" will come out?

I was wondering what everyone thought.

I don't think it will be anytime soon because they have to file things with the FCC and it usually takes a few months after that for a manufacterer to release the phone. The Sidekick 3 ran through the FCC filings in March 2006, but was released in July. I doubt we'll be seeing one in the first half of 2007.

I was, but I've been starting to follow cell phones a lot now (and read Engadget Mobile) to the point where I know the process of releasing a phone. Maybe they might just announce it, who knows, but I just don't see one coming until sometime after MWSF.

Also, remember there are large Asian and European mobile phone markets that works very differently (and probably better) than the US market...

I'm still hoping for a swift European release...



As I said, I'm very optimistic about this...
