when the ibooks get updated (probably in a week or 2) the powerbooks will probably also be updated so that the ibooks aren't almost as good as the powerbooks

That is correct, only Steve Jobs knows the actual answer. I wouldn't at all be surprised if the PowerBook wasn't updated until MWSF, Intel Inside.

I hope its pretty soon...cause im in a dire need of a new computer..i've been waiting for 4 years to get a new one....im praying they are updated with the Ibooks, or i just might have to get an Ibook instead

Hopefully soon, although I think I am going to wait for Centrino Powerbook...ah, the power and energy saving powers of a pentium m :D

If they update the powerbooks with ibooks, hopefully next week, what do you think will be changed in the 12"powerbook?

Speed bump? Graphics?

12" and 15" (combo)
will probably have 1.67GHz G4 processors -- Upgrade graphics to 128MB?

and the 15" SuperDrive and the 17" will have a 1.80GHz - 2GHz Proccesor

Could someone speculate on what sort of pricing the updated models would be introduced at? If it's any higher than the current pbs, I think I'd rather go for the bargain....

i dont suspect any update for the summer

Hehe, I'm hoping this is the case. But it's more of a superficial I don't want my PB to be topped out by some new PB. I like having the "top of the line" for a bit :)
