iPad mini When do you think we’ll get the unboxing & testing vids from the Tech YouTubers?

We all know marques and Glinda iJustine already have filmed the video for the mini 7.
they usually drop them a couple of days before they’re officially out, so I assume tomorrow but idk… what do you guys think? I really badly want marques to confirm jelly gate status
 
Tomorrow it sounds like, as parts of the world will be on "Wednesday" (release day)

I have my toast and peanut butter ready ...
I'm hoping to hear about a lack of jelly

I have caved and pre ordered - still waiting for the videos though.... hope they will come out today.
 
Couple of unboxings just appeared on YouTube.... not that I have been checking frequently :)
 
This guy is pretty lukewarm about it ... he's more excited about a next gen iPad entry level update! lol

I do appreciate him calling out how "meh" these screens are compared to modern iPhones

 
Jelly is still there ... Apple worked to minimize it with an "optimized display controller"
Depending upon who you ask (so far), they did a little bit ... or very little, but not a ton

Exceptionally disappointing from Apple
To me, this company is Apple in name only anymore
 
The iJustine demo of the email AI in particular makes me feel like I'm not missing out on anything at all by holding on to my iPhone 14 for a few more years!

One thing I like about her is that she’s not so negative, like The Verge review. They were mad it didn’t have specs that would surpass the iPad Air M2’s specs (OLED, FaceID, M2, rotated camera, etc). Like, be for real… 💀

Very annoying that are literally hundreds of videos all with the same content. And no one seems to have one playing games on the new Mini 7! One of the main differences it has over the 6 because of its new processor. Typical.

Thanks, I did see these earlier, after I made my post lol, typical. Sadly in the top vid it doesn't seem to be doing too well?

I'll wait for some other vids, but at present I am thinking of swapping my 11" Pro for a Mini and will just put up with no Pro Motion. The Pro iPad REALLY isn't designed to be used naked, it's built for that keyboard case. The Mini is a tablet first and foremost and is a very good size. iPad OS is also just too limiting for all that power in a Pro iPad. I've noticed battery life drop off a bit on my iPad although still good. It's definitely getting a bit shorter. So might be time to change it.

I Use the iPad with the ps remote app, ps controller and works well

There's no mystery here. It's a gen. 6 with new chips. We all knew that almost immediately. The box is the same!

People wanted it to rise from the bottom rung. But it's probably where it will always be. I don't see this changing. Apple's bottom rung is industry top-notch
