When does extended holiday return period start in November for online ordering of iPhones?

Was about to place an order.(16 Pro as a gift for a family member) While searching online about the Apple online store, I noticed an old thread from 2023 talking about their extended holiday period which started in early November 2023. (allowing customers to return stuff until January) Is this something they to every year? if so, when does it start for 2024?

I think it started November 3rd of last year. So maybe November 1 this year.

It’s think it’s been the first Friday of November for the last few years.

I went by the Apple Store today, and they said the extended return policy is not in effect yet. They wouldn’t tell me when it starts, either.

Holiday Return Policy​

During the holiday season, Apple extends its usual return window. Items purchased between November 3 and December 25 can be returned until January 8 of the following year. This policy applies to Apple Watches, iPhones, iPads, Macs, and accessories. But, the extended policy only affects items bought within this timeframe. Purchases made after December 25 fall under Apple’s standard 14-day return policy.

my neighbor bought on of those silly LED signs that counts down... it just turned to "49 days until Christmas!" I thought that was silly when they put it up, but now I look at it every night before going to bed. Perhaps someone need to send one to Apple headquarters?
