When Downloading from Cydia Screen Fades

Hi, im wondering if when the screen fades when your downloading something from Cydia if that stops the download or interferes with it. If so, how can I stop it fading when downloading something?

EDIT: I tested it and when it faded the wifi turned off so it stopped downloading :( Is there a way to fix this?
