I look on the UK Apple Store website to see when we're getting it.

No response.

Well, I am not taking "no response" for an answer.

I really cannot see why we should take any longer to receive it - so must now ask for you to ask your knowledgeable chums as to when this will occur.

Go on. Do it now. They wont mind. Honest.

And when they tell you. Ask them to leave the answer here an' all!.

Cheers y'all!

Thats great, Scott! Great .. Scott .. geddit?. :) ("First time Ive heard that joke .... today!"-Scott)

I am wondering if this will qualify for the Student Education discount too?.

Me daughter might be able to wangle it for £55?.

Cheers also for the link, sir

Ta

Bruce

If it's the same as the release in the states the blanket educational discount has dropped to something like 10%. The only way to get a really cheap copy there is to attend a school who are part of the Apple program and have their own store that is only accessible from the on-campus network (or who sell at that price via the on-campus bookstore).

Thanks All..yes I will see if Apple themselves (who currently have apologised re: the phenomenal amount of delay Ive had getting a iMac 24" in an undamaged condition and who are offering me `a goodwill gesture') might do me a `deal' on the program. I currently use Pinnacle Studio on Windows which is very good. However-my next machine is a Mac so I hope its not too challenging a `crossover' readers!.

Cheers all (again) £55 eh? Quite a deal!. Is the EDU discount version as good as the Full price version and does it come with any semblance of a manual or is it al PDF pontificating?

CHeers!!!

The education version comes exactly the same as the retail version in a nice retail box with everything you would expect to receive.

Cheers mate.. thats nice to know and that kinda money undercuts even the PC equivalent (Pinnacle Studio) by about twenty quids!.

Fandabadozy! THough .. unlike the former .. I dont think it contains any printed documentation. Nowt better than a good manual methinks.

Tho maybe someone has brought out a third party book?

Regards!
