When/how should I sell my 80GB silver ipod classic?

I want to sell my 80GB silver ipod classic, I can get £80 on bananagreen.com or maybe more on ebay. It has a few marks on the front and usual wear and tear scratches, and small dent on the back. I'm selling it with the box, accessories and a case as well. I'm trying to time it before the next apple event when they might be releasing new ipod touches, so I don't go too long without an ipod and get the most for it.

ebay will get you most. i suggest you hurry up as new ipods are around the corner and current ones will drop in value once new ones are released.

I'd sell it asap, before the Classic gets refreshed. As above, ebay should get you something.

Don't expect too many changes with the iPod touch. Maybe a new back. I don't think anything else.

Although you'll likely see a discontinuation of the 8gb with the 16 gb filling in it's price point.
