I'm going to need to transfer some files over.
I know all the ways you can set it up and actually transfer them over, I just have one specific question.
Since my old computer died and I can't access the files off of that specific computer, I bought external hard drive enclosures so I can load them onto my home PC and transfer them through that.
My question is will my old Master drive from my laptop be read successfully from my home PC, where it wouldn't be the "master drive"?
I know my Slave Drive works fine because it's loaded on my home PC already.
And I assume it will work because in order for my Slave Drive to even fit into the enclosure I had to take out the Jumper Pin designating it a Slave Drive anyways.
I just wanted to make sure so when I do end up preparing to transfer files I wouldn't run into any problems.
Surprisingly, I'm more worried about the files on my Second Drive (the one that works) compared to my Master Drive (only some documents and to transfer my bookmarks would be nice), so this wouldn't be the end of the world but helpful.
Thanks,
Torrid
