When i push hard on the screen , it shows a white flicker.

I've just changed the battery on my iphone, and now i noticed a small quirk. When i push hard on the center of the screen, it shows a black "wave", kinda what its like when you push on a monitor. It requires a lot of force though, and i mean a lot more than normal.

Also, i have a small silver pin/piece as a leftover from the iphone, although it functions fine without it.

Dont worry about it. If you dont normally push that hard, you wont have to worry about it happening under normal circumstances.

Exactly. Most every display will behave this way when pressed really hard. Just use it normally and you should be fine. If not, take it to Apple. If not for a free replacement, then a $199 replacement.

hit it as hard as you can with a ball peen hammer .......... maybe a bolt of lightning will shoot out

You never find out the use until after you've thrown away the extra part. Then the use becomes obvious and essential to the functioning of your iPhone. That's just how it works bro

I love WhiteD00r! I used it on my first generation iPod touch, and it really helped out my old device. I guess I won't be needing to upgrade that.
