So i am selling my 1st gen iphone, when i ship it am i supposed to include my old SIM or take it out? i know i need to do a "in phone" restore but do i need to take my SIM? it is an invalid SIM now anyways.

thanks

whenever you sell a GSM phone, take out the SIM (at least that's what I've always done)... When I ship my iPhone 2G out, I will take the SIM card off ;)

yes take it out and dont give it to anyone. you should sell me your old crappy iphone for very cheap though

Even if it's deactivated and the phone is restored the buyer can still see your number. There's really no reason to keep it in, just take it out.
