when i turn on my mac, it says a program has been downloaded from the internet do u want to open it called get backup agent, but i did not download a program, but i did download a torrent, spotight doesnt find anything what do i do? please help

Pirated software is generally tainted with trojan viruses. Your best bet at this point is to back up only your data and reinstall the OS to ensure that whatever was installed is gone.

That begs the question: Did you download something from the Internet?

If this "unknown" application starts-up when you login, then it should be listed under the Login Items tab of the Accounts preferences pane of System Preferences.
