When i view my pictures they show up in quicktime...help

Before when I used to view pictures they show up in (from what I can remember) Picture...im not sure what else is missing but after a while they started showing up in colorsync which i didnt like then i deleted it and the pictures started showing up in quicktime. Can someone please tell me what is the application i can download so my pictures start showing up in an application that starts with "Picture" because it takes up less room

Preview is the app I believe you're referring to. Right click on an image file and "Get Info." Go down to the "Open With" dropdown menu and select "Preview." Click "Change All."

Are your images in iPhoto? Make sure they're in iPhoto and they'll automatically open in iPhoto and not quick time.

It should have come with your Mac. What kind of Mac do you have?

Click finder->Applications and then look for iPhoto

Yea I used to have it but I accidently deleted it.

reinstall it with the discs that came with the computer.
