I'd like to do a erase and install, I have a external HD my only question is how do I easily transfer my itunes, and I dont just mean the songs Id like to transfer all the playlists and everything. How would I do do this?
Thanks.

wow simpler then I thought, I thought that would just move the songs :eek:
@sushi: ye I WISH You know what I mean.:D

It's the same for iPhoto, for what it's worth. The folder for iPhoto is in your Pictures folder. In fact, it's probably just a good idea to make a copy of your entire Home folder as backup. This'll keep a copy of pretty much everything except your apps. :)

Who said he has leopard??
The original threat title indicated that.

Then his coy reply to my comment about already having Leopard.

He is asking this, in prep for leopard... he is talking about for when he purchases leopard
Maybe you are right, but I wouldn't bet on it.

Whether you have Leopard or Tiger, it's good to have a backup of your Home folder. :)
This is good advice for any OS when you are going to make an upgrade/major change.

His reply comment said "yeah I WISH" meaning "yeah, I wish" as in... he wishes he had it...

EDIT:
And if you have looked around apple.com (I forgot exactly where) you can buy some package, that will include Leopard beta, and like tickets to macworld and more, for like $2k+

Maybe I misread the intent of his comment. If so, my apologies to all -- especially mac17.

Maybe you are looking here.

Anyhow, a developer (used to be one) would never ask a simple question such as this. AFAIK, only developers have beta copies of Leopard at this time.

ok just to clarify, NO I DONT HAVE LEOPARD Just thought when I DO get it I would like to know how, sorry if it was misread.
@mad jew: thanks, good to know.
