I'm wanting to buy my brother a Macbook/Macbook Pro for his birthday on June 2nd. What Apple events are happening between now and then where they might release new models/drop prices?

they won't have an event just for an upgraded notebook. They are due for upgrades very soon. Check out the 7,000 post thread in the mbp forum for all the info you need
