When is the next media event?

Do Apple have a regularly planned media event in the fall that the new phones could be announced at or will they have to have a special media event just for the phone? For the life of me I can't remember since the phone rumors are generally all that I follow and in the past (when I've been interested in a new phone) they have already been announced by now. I'm loving all the new rumors but I'm so ready to to see the phone.

Apple only has one regularly scheduled event and that is WWDC (which is typically in June every year). Other than that, they are all "special" events.

But as of now, this is the unofficial schedule:

Sept/Oct: iPhone
Feb/March: iPad
June: WWDC (iOS, Macs)
