I'm new to mac's and am curious about some of the posts I've seen stating that new iMac owners run resolution/yellowing/dead pixel tests on their computers. Are there specific tests out there that you folks recommend?

Quit being so paranoid and just turn it on and use the silly thing! It will be quickly obvious if there are any issues, chances are extremely low there are problems.

I'll be running something like this and definitely checking for abnormal light bleed http://www.lagom.nl/lcd-test/

Yeah, thanks for the advice. I don't think I'd call it paranoid to want to make sure that my $2k investment is in good shape when it arrives.
