When my new iPhone arrives, What sim should i activate it with?

Im on O2 & im ending my contract early to take out this new contract & will be pac ing my number over.

BUT, this might sound obvious but im unsure wether to activate the phone with the sim that comes with it as it will obviously be changing over to my current number.

I was thinking of just putting in my current mobile contract sim(which will be ending in a few days)but i dont want any confusion.

Or is it a case of the sim issue doesnt matter??? either is good & wont complicate the change over??

i have a choice of 3.. am planning on asking o2 on friday when i pick the phone up

although i am pretty sure it wont matter. just dont want to get it wrong.
