if the new MBP do arrive anytime soon, do you think they'll still be selling the "older" model MBP at the Apple store? Or are they going to completely remove the "older" MBPs off the shelf and use it as replacements?

They will stop selling the older ones, but you may be able to get them in the refurbished store.

Retailers may be selling the ones they have in stock, but there is no guarantee that they will have any.

true.. many retailers aren't getting much stock anyways..
It's just that every time there's a refresh, Best Buy has them on clearance price, like $100-$200 off retail price, while Fry's has it for a high price.. until 6 months later if they can't get rid of their entire stock.. :D
