When opening the Documents Folder from the dock...

When opening the Documents Folder and also the Downloads Folder from the dock, is there a way for it to open in finder instead of it opening as it does? I.e. big icons and no list view?

I much prefer the list view of my documents and my downloads.

Running 10.6.6 here

Command-click on a stack for it to open in finder. Also you can change the way stacks are viewed by right clicking on one and choosing fan, grid or list.

If you want a link that always opens in Finder without any modifier keys, create an alias of your documents folder and then drag that to the right hand side of your dock.
