For those of you that ordered early last night did the delivery time on the apple site state 1-2 weeks delivery? Reason i am asking is i ordered a 64gb black last night and i regret getting the 64gb has i don't need that much storage so i wan to cancel my order and chose a smaller size but i'm just hopingi will still get it on the 14th.

Thanks

I ordered last night and my confirmation email says "Ships by October 14th". But the site says 1-2 weeks now.

Mine should still ship on time right?

No it didn't. It said 'Ships by October 14th', so I think you have missed out on the first set of shipments. Sorry!

P.S. - Do you mean on the stores other than the US, eg. UK?

Yes, if you are in the UK the sales reps there said it would most likely be delivered on the 14th (they said 'practically guaranteed!')

When I ordered this am around 4:30 cst, it said delivers on the 14th and the email confirmation states:

That makes sense. They have X number of each version set aside for each market. Once they pre-sell the X amount, they then have to start allocating future inventory to fill needs.

I would bet they'll see significant numbers ordered in all markets, as people start realizing just how unique and powerful siri is.
