Hi I was annoyed whenever I plugged in my iphone that the music app would pop up, especially when all I wanted is to charge my iphone. I hence used this command in terminal and since then it stopped (defaults -currentHost write com.apple.ImageCapture disableHotPlug -bool YES). Now I am trying to do a DFU restore where the iphone has to show up after in Music app, and as it is not showing up I used the below command to disable the above (defaults -currentHost write com.apple.ImageCapture disableHotPlug -bool NO), as was told this would allow it to work as it did before, however no luck. Something seems stuck. It says synching, however no other details are displayed on the screen. It shows the iphone on the left even if it is not plugged in. What do I do?
