When r Apple eva goin to update the MBP graphics drivers?

I have a first generation unibody MBP (Dec 2008) and the higher performance settings for the better graphics cards always causes my mbp to be quite hot and the annoying fans get faster and noisy.
Are Apple ever going to update the drivers? Also I find the that lower power graphics card performs better when playing movies. I am getting kinda annoyed at Apple for this.

Unless I missing it I don't see anything about OSX on that site. All the drivers listed are for Windows.
