When selling IPhone 3G on eBay...how do I handle this?

So I put the SIM from my 3G into the new 3GS to get it up and running, then put the SIM that came with the 3GS into the old 3G so it wouldn't be just floating around somewhere.

When I sell the 3G, what should I do with the brand new SIM that came in the 3GS? Leave it in for the new owner? Keep it around for myself (since the new owner will need to pop theirs in anyway)?

If I were to leave it in, my account couldn't be stolen or anything right, because the new phone was never activated with that card?
