I have a MBA that this new one is going to replace. I know I could just restore my MBA onto but I'm sure there's several years worth of "stuff" I don't need.

Yet, I'd love to have all my iphoto and itunes from the Air onto the Pro.

Will there be an option to only restore that which I need or is all or nothing? i guess I could just burn some stuff onto DVD's.

Thanks.

You can choose what to transfer, for instance, you can choose which applications you want, whether or not to migrate your document folder, etc. It gives you a lot of options. You cannot, however, weed through your documents/photos/etc to determine which to migrate. You can migrate all documents or none, all photos or none, etc. You can, however, be more selective about applications.
